apple salad

i this apple salad i have it several times a week

1 small to medium apple cut into very small pieces
large dollop of sour cream or plain yogurt 2-3 tablespoons 
2 tablespoons of cinnamon
pecans
tablespoon or two of sugar free maple syrup
2 tablespoons minced onion (optional)

mix well

variations:

add fresh or dried basil to taste
add another fruit like strawberries, blueberries, etc.
add avocado

cinnamon is an anti-inflamatory
saigon cinnamon is spicier and is excellent in this salad
cutting small pieces gives more surfaces for cinnamon
sour cream helps the apples get juicier
